Terms of Service

The site, demonstration, and interest-registration service are provided on an early-access, “as is” and “as available” basis. Features, examples, and availability may change. Addresses displayed by the demonstration are illustrative or noncanonical pilot values unless Terraddress expressly states otherwise.

Registering interest, confirming your email, receiving an interest_id, submitting desired-address text, or using a referral code does not:

• create an account;
• allocate or register an address;
• establish ownership or any other legal right;
• reserve a name or establish availability;
• guarantee pricing or future service;
• create a queue position or priority; or
• constitute an offer or acceptance of any transaction.

The site does not release the private Terraddress Standard or perform canonical address registration.

Referral codes are used for attribution only. They provide no reward, credit, discount, ownership right, reservation, or priority. Fraudulent and self-referrals may be disregarded.

You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful material, evade technical safeguards, or use automated access in a way that disrupts the service. We may suspend, restrict, or block access to the site, and may remove or disregard submissions, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or where doing so is necessary to protect the service, other users, or third parties, subject to applicable law.

Terraddress, its branding, site content, and underlying addressing methods are owned by Terraddress or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Terraddress is patent pending in the United States (provisional patent application filed March 7, 2026). No license is granted except the limited right to use the website in accordance with these Terms.

The site relies on service providers, including Vercel, Supabase, and Resend. Their services may be subject to separate terms and availability.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE, THE DEMONSTRATION, AND THE INTEREST-REGISTRATION SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. ADDRESSES, RESOLUTIONS, AND MAP DATA DISPLAYED BY THE DEMONSTRATION ARE ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY AND ARE NOT WARRANTED TO BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR NAVIGATION, EMERGENCY, OR SAFETY-OF-LIFE USE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived or excluded under applicable law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TERRADDRESS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF TERRADDRESS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNTS, IF ANY, YOU PAID TO TERRADDRESS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the early-access site, subject to applicable law. We may update these Terms and will update the effective date and provide any notice required by law.

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the site, are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@terraddress.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. If you reside in a jurisdiction whose law grants you non-waivable consumer protections or the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, nothing in this section deprives you of those rights.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to submit an expression of interest. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If we learn that a person under 16 has submitted personal information, we will delete it.
