Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Terraddress Systems, Inc., operating Terraddress (“Terraddress,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, retains, and protects information when you use terraddress.com or register interest in Terraddress.
Information we collect
If you register interest, we collect the information you choose to submit and limited operational information needed to run the service:
- your email address;
- the persona you select and any optional “other” detail;
- your optional country;
- optional desired-address text, stored as submitted;
- whether you indicate that you are willing to speak with us;
- the versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted and the time of consent;
- limited first-touch attribution, such as the landing path, campaign parameters, and referral code; and
- operational status and timestamps, such as whether your interest is pending, confirmed, or deleted.
The interactive addressing demonstration does not create an account or allocate, reserve, or register an address.
How we use information
We use submitted information to:
- confirm and administer your expression of interest;
- contact you about Terraddress early access, research, or product availability, where permitted;
- respond to privacy and deletion requests;
- protect the service against abuse;
- measure aggregate demand and product interest; and
- maintain necessary operational and compliance records.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Measurement and cookies
Terraddress uses first-party, cookie-less event measurement. Events use predefined names and fields and do not accept arbitrary free text. Event records do not contain your raw email address, raw IP address, user agent, confirmation or deletion token, referring page, or raw URL. We do not currently use third-party advertising analytics or advertising cookies.
Terraddress may use minimal first-party browser storage (such as localStorage or sessionStorage) solely to record first-touch attribution — for example, the landing path, campaign parameters, and referral code from your first visit — so that a later interest submission can be attributed to that visit. This storage does not contain your email address or other directly identifying information, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and is not shared with third parties. We do not use third-party cookies.
Confirmation and deletion links
Confirmation and deletion actions use single-use links. The token is placed in the URL fragment rather than the request URL and is removed from the browser address bar before the action is submitted. Terraddress stores a cryptographic hash of the token rather than the token itself.
Retention
Unconfirmed interest records are eligible for deletion after 30 days. Confirmed records are retained for as long as your interest registration remains active and the Terraddress early-access program continues, and in any event no longer than 24 months after our last meaningful interaction with you (for example, a message you open, a link you click, or a request you submit), after which the record is deleted or de-identified.
When you complete a verified deletion request, Terraddress removes the personal fields from the interest record. We may retain a pseudonymous deletion tombstone for 24 months from the date your deletion request is completed, consistent with the record-keeping period required of businesses under the California Consumer Privacy Act regulations and detached aggregate information that does not identify you, subject to applicable law.
If you ask us not to contact an email address, Terraddress stores a versioned keyed cryptographic hash of that address — not the raw address — for as long as we send marketing or early-access communications (indefinitely by default, with the suppression record removed only if you later provide a new, verified opt-in through a fresh signup) so that we can honor the request.
Service providers and disclosures
Terraddress uses service providers to operate the service:
- Vercel for website hosting and server-side application infrastructure;
- Supabase for managed PostgreSQL database infrastructure; and
- Resend for transactional email delivery.
These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms and agreements. Each provider acts as a service provider or processor on our behalf under a written agreement, including a data processing agreement or addendum, that limits its use of personal information to providing services to Terraddress. Processing occurs primarily on infrastructure located in the United States. Where a provider transfers personal information across borders, the transfer is made under appropriate safeguards, such as the provider’s standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. A current list of our service providers is available on request at support@terraddress.com.
We may also disclose information where required by law; to protect rights, safety, and service integrity; or in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit access, reduce stored data, protect tokens and suppression records cryptographically, and fail closed when required production systems are unavailable. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit optional fields. You may withdraw consent or request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. The rights available to you depend on where you live and the applicable law.
To make a request, use the deletion flow on the website or contact support@terraddress.com. We may need to verify your request before acting. We will confirm receipt of a privacy rights request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days; where reasonably necessary, we may extend our response once by an additional 45 days and will notify you of the extension. To verify your request, we may ask you to confirm control of the email address on file (for example, by clicking a verification link sent to that address); we do not require you to create an account. If we decline all or part of your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response or writing to support@terraddress.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal”; we will respond to appeals within 45 days. California residents may also submit complaints to the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General, and residents of other jurisdictions may contact their local data protection authority.
Children
Terraddress is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age, and we do not sell or share the personal information of any consumer, including minors. If you believe a person under 16 has submitted personal information to us, please contact support@terraddress.com and we will delete it.
International processing
Terraddress and its service providers (Vercel, Supabase, and Resend) process personal information primarily on infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms; further details are available on request at support@terraddress.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent.
